A Chapter a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

I used to sit and write ten thousand words per day. While that was very productive, the end result was shoulder and neck pain. There's a fine line between productivity and overdoing it. Now, my goal is a chapter or three thousand words per day. I know authors who write a page a day while others write several. There really is no magic formula for writing success. All I know is what works for me and what doesn't. My advice to authors who contact me is to find what works for them and then do it. Plain and simple. Do it day after day, week after week, month after month. And then, edit those manuscripts and get them out there! There's nothing worse than hearing an author say they're sitting on a pile of unpublished manuscripts. They can't make you any money if they're sitting unpublished. Keep writing and don't stop! You might just be sitting on a best-seller.
